A monthly circle for women without children.
Mother of pearl is the shell that provides space for creation. She influences her surroundings and leaves behind colour on the pearl itself.
Women without children are Pearl Mothers. We possess all the characteristics and strength of the Mother, but we do not create children. Our “children” – our pearls – appear in the form of our works of art, our labours of love, and everything we nourish and bring to life.
We Pearl Mothers offer the world our rainbows and our magic. We nourish, give life, and create — just not in the form of a baby.
Join us, a powerful collective of women united by our lived experience of being childfree, whether that be by choice, chance, circumstance or infertility or loss.
This group is designed to be a safe space to express your grief, sadness, joy or relief. All emotions are welcomed here as we navigate a world where being childfree often brings with it unwanted probing or judgements about our situation.
We are using the text Pearl Mothers by Unnar Arndísardóttir to support us on our exploration of our inner and outer lives.
This group is facilitated by Faye Morgana, Lunar Womb Temple Priestess and Priestess of Morgan Le Fay and brings her knowledge of esoteric work, ceremonial skills and lived experience of infertility to hold space. Liz Pickford joins her as an antenatal and postnatal practitioner and student Priestess. Although Liz does have a child she is uniquely qualified to hold us in sacred and safe space as she has experienced child loss and also, with her extensive trainings on loss and grief, understands the topic and mindset with great sensitivity.
Exchange is £10 payable on the night, Faye has the ability to take electronic payments.
